Moving Home
Moving is one of life’s biggest upheavals, not to mention one of the most exhausting, with so much to navigate. When the removal vans go and you’re left surrounded by boxes, this can feel utterly overwhelming.
My Unpacking and Organising service is the ideal way to get settled into your new home, box free and organised for your new start. This service is ideally suited to smaller homes and apartment moves and depending on the number of belongings, I can often have you unpacked and settled within a day or two.
If you’re moving to a larger property, I can bring in additional support.
Every home move is unique but as a guide, the daily rate starts from £399 for 1 organiser.
Every project quote includes planning consultation (or site visit if needed), 7 hours in-home support and travel time within 30 minutes of Wokingham, Berkshire. Storage is priced separately and invoiced at the end of the project.
A 20% deposit is required. Weekend and Bank Holiday rates will differ.

The sooner I speak to clients, the better! As soon as the house goes on the market, we can be planning what needs to be moved, unpacked and organised and what the new home’s requirements will be. Even better, is for clients to consider their belongings and what they need in their new home before they put their house on the market and I can help with this stage too.

Best practice is to let the removal people do their job day one and get all boxes and furniture on site. I will give you my Night One essentials checklist so you can stay comfortably overnight. I then come in the morning of Day 2 and get cracking, unpacking boxes and getting you organised into the rooms you have asked for help with. Some homeowners want help just with key rooms like the kitchen and master bedroom, others need the whole space tackled by me and that is a matter of preference and budget.

To make the most of the time and ensure I work as efficiently as possible, I work alone in each room. This allows me to focus on creating a considered, organised result. You can brief me before I arrive or in the morning if there is a particular set up you would like (e.g. certain items close to hob, tops folded or hung etc) You may want to take charge of a particular room yourself. We agree at the start of the day which rooms you're handing over to me. Rest assured though that I check in with clients throughout the day to ensure that the set up is going exactly as they would like!

Some clients choose not to be at the property on Day 2 at all (because they are working or looking after little ones) or they pop in and out to run errands. We will always have a clear plan of what you need me to unpack and organise so you don’t need to be on site.
